Assessment as Evidence for Learning

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

As learning and teaching practices transform, and as the roles of educators and learners continue to evolve, it is essential that we rethink our assessment practices. Assessment is the primary tool learners and educators use to determine their readiness level for learning. It is also one of the main forms of dialogue between learners and educators. This session will help you find new ways to leverage assessment as a means to make learning and teaching more dynamic and responsive.

Learning Intentions:
  • Reflect on the importance of assessment
  • Explore comprehensive assessment systems
  • Consider the ways that assessment could be restructured to include learners in the process
